GENERAL ELECTION
Tuesday, November 5th, 2024

Polls open from 6:30 am to 7:30pm

New Photo ID Law is in effect!

Beginning with the 2024 Municipal Elections, voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in to vote. Voters who vote by mail will be asked to include a photocopy of an acceptable ID when returning their ballot by mail.

  • In the NC General Assembly, Wilkes is in District 36 in the Senate, and Districts 90 and 94 in the House of Representatives.
  • In the US House of Representatives, Wilkes is in the 5th District. ​
